The Challenge
The City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario needed to inform and educate local community residents, committee members, and key stakeholders about how the tax dollars of the city are being spent for municipal services and special districts such as ambulance, fire department, police services, local road construction, and more.
Solutions
- Explainer Video Animation
- Whiteboard Animation
- Multimedia Video Production
- Social Media Content Creation
We created a series of 6 explainer videos and whiteboard videos which also included multimedia such as photos and video of the city of Kawartha Lakes, the ambulance service, new medical center concept sketches, fire department, road construction, and more. Each video was created within 2min or 3min duration, however when played in sequence presented a story of the city’s tax dollar spending, and educated local residents (tax payers) as well as key stakeholders including committee and city council members. The videos also consistently featured the regions symbolic Osprey Hawk/bird which takes viewers through the sequential story.
“Video allows government marketers to convey complex information in a clear and digestible format. Whether demoing products, showcasing success stories, or raising awareness about important issues, videos are powerful educational tools.”
